Cameo With Carley Challenge

The wonderful, funny, pretty and a wardrobe to die for Carley Duff from Creata and Create and Craft TV, has a fresh new group over on Facebook.

Carly has now been on Create and Craft (Sky 671 UK) a couple of times demonstrating the Silhouette Cameo and the Portrait.  And she gives its a nice fresh approach to the Silhouette beginner, and a refresher to those of us more experienced with the machine, for those of you that have the machine, you are constantly learning new techniques whatever your level.

Anyway, as I said, Carley has a little group over at Facebook called......'Cameo with Carley' and its a great group giving friendly advice, suggestions and for sharing our makes, and it doesn't matter what level you are at.

What I like about the group is it gives you a monthly challenge, which you can also find at the Cameo With Carley Blog I have just started to join in challenges again, it kind of pushes me to think out of the box a bit.  This months challenge is Birds/Nature and you just need to create something containing either birds or nature.

Now I don't do birds, the scare me :/ so I decided to use my favourite insect and it won't be long before they come fluttering into my back garden...Butterflies :)

I cut the large butterfly on my cameo  on Kraft card,

on the card itself, I stencilled where the butterfly is.

I then attached left over scraps off ribbon and attached the card back on top

using the same butterfly, resized and cut out smaller butterflies and attached with 3D foam
